The CLAY Philosophy
To support each member in his or her individual pursuit of health, accomplished through the integration of physical training, mindful exercise and nutritional guidance.

MEMBER SERVICES

CLAY Program Advisor
At CLAY, members are offered a Program Advisor who will develop an individual integrated fitness program based on the members' needs and desires. Advisors take into consideration each member's specific lifestyle. Do they sit at a computer all day? Are they constantly eating on the run? Or are they able to spend the afternoon at the club? This type of caring, thoughtful counsel enables members to enjoy a program that improves how they feel, as well as how they function throughout their daily routines. The individualized plans consist of a variety of physical, educational and/or relaxation activities, including weight training, group fitness classes, functional fitness training, Pilates, cardio, nutritional guidance, educational seminars, meditation, and massage.

6-8 Week Mastery Programs
Members enhance their abilities and well-being with the mastery of special skills and exercises. CLAY's concentrated, 6-8 week programs include, but are not limited to, meditation, self-defense, sports-specific training, T'ai Chi, running clinics, women's health issues, the Alexander Technique, and dance, as well as the CLAY whole-body integration programs; the CLAY Challenge and the CLAY Fundamentals of Fitness.

Fitness Classes and Equipment
CLAY offers both physical and mindful exercise classes, including indoor cycling, all styles of yoga, Pilates mat, gyrokinesis and body conditioning, among others. In addition, because CLAY focuses on functional, whole-body fitness, the Club features a full line of Pilates, Free Motion circuit training, a Cybex VRII circuit and ergonomic free weights.

Body Work Therapy
With the opening of our spa facilities in August, 2002, CLAY offers its members and their guests an array of personalized body work therapies in a uniquely elegant setting. There are five private saunas and two Body Work Therapy rooms all bathed in gentle, colored light.

Members of CLAY and their guest can select from a menu of traditional and innovative treatments designed to provide deep relaxation, stress reduction relief from muscular tension and stiffness, increased flexibility and range of motion, and finally, enhanced mind-body awareness.

Licensed by New York State, CLAY's therapists provide responsive, personalized attention and care to meet each member's specific needs.

World-Renowned International Fitness Presenters
Group Fitness Classes and Mastery Programs will be led by world renowned international fitness presenters including Calvin Wiley, Patricia Moreno, Ilaria Montagnani, Lisa Wheeler, Tony Morrison, Jon Giswald and more.

Nutritional Programs and Services
On-site nutritionists at CLAY provide consultations and personalized programs that complement members' exercise routines. In addition, nutritional analysis, education and cooking demonstrations are available through workshops and seminars. Cooking and Nutritional workshops will culminate with fabulous dinner parties at the home of CLAY's founder, Robin Brown. The café serves great-tasting, healthy meals and snacks, supplied by New York's Herban Kitchen. A rooftop seating area allows customers to enjoy their meal in a relaxing, outdoor environment from March through November.

Concierge Services
In addition to providing information about the Club and its many offerings, our staff will accommodate members' personal needs. For example, if a member forgets to send flowers to mom for her birthday or needs to order dinner to arrive home within an hour, the concierge will handle the request and simply bill the charge to a member's account.

CLAY'S DESIGN

An Alluring Environment
CLAY is infused with natural light from hundreds of windows and skylights, artful materials, soothing color schemes, and optical illusions to enhance the experience. This provides an inspirational atmosphere both from a physical and emotional perspective. Highlights of the Club1s design include:
- Fireplace lounge:  A sunken lounge for relaxation, lies beneath a skylight with an over-sized, floor-to-ceiling fireplace and sitting area.
- The locker rooms and back lounge:  Color, light, shadows and varying textures generate a relaxing mood, even in the locker rooms. At the back-end of the locker rooms, members enter a hidden lounge where they can access e-mail, watch their favorite program on a plasma television screen and enjoy a complimentary cappuccino.
- Overnight laundry service:  Members leave their workout clothes in their locker and CLAY washes them overnight and returns them before the Club opens the next day.
