CLAY's programming is based on our philosophy of combining physical training with mindful exercise. Members are encouraged to integrate a variety of classes into their routine for optimal results.
- Conditioning
- BodyWedge Workout. This class adds the new dimension of BodyWedge21®, a new tool in the workout world. The BodyWedge is a soft, upholstered wedge with many applications such as an incline for bench presses, a balance tool, and a prop for core stabilization training. Starting with a cardio segment, you'll get a total body workout.
- Cardio Sculpt. A total body conditioning class with a cardio Component.
- Circuit Training. Learn proper form and technic as you move through the Cybex equipment circuit in this unique total body condition class. All levels welcome. *Sign in required
- CLAY Core. Improve balance and posture, and strengthen your abdominals and trim your waistline. These classes integrate modern training techniques with traditional abdominal work to improve the functionality and look of your core.
- Core/Flexibility. Using a blend of sports and other techniques, instructors will lead participants through a challenging routine that will promote core strength, proper range of motion, lengthen muscles, and improve posture.
- Jump Rope. Learn Jump Rope fundamentals combined with cardiovascular and strength training exercises.
- Power Sculpt. This total body conditioning utilizes body bars, dumbbells, and step benches. Classic functional moves will help you become stronger, leaner, and more energized.
- TRED (TM). Jamie Norcini's signature treadmill interval training class that includes core and sculpting drills between treadmill high-intensity walking, jogging, and/or running, for all fitness levels. *Sign in required
- willPower & grace (TM). Developed by Stacey Lei Krauss, this class is a full body conditioning class that focuses on functional and natural movements as a way of toning and honing the body. Strong emphasis on the core is added towards the end of class. Think "Pilates meets Bootcamp."
- Cycling
- Cycle Endurance. Challenge yourself to go the distance. Learn proper cycle foundation training, focus and breathe control. 1 Hour Class.
- Cycling. Train on the most comfortable and desirable cycling bikes on the market - The Tomahawk. This class is appropriate for members of all levels, from recreational cyclists to competitive racers. Members are encouraged to train at their own pace.
- Dance
- Latin Grooves. Experience an energetic and high intensity dance class which blend the hottest Latin dances for international competitions as Cha-cha, Rhumba, Samba, Mambo and Paso Doble. Cuban Motion, musicality, foot work, style, sensuality and grace are the main ingredients of this sizzling upbeat class. No experience or partner needed.
- Masala Bhangra Workout®. Sarina Jain has combined influences from her Indian heritage with 14 years experience in the U.S. fitness industry to create an exotic and unique high-energy calorie-burning cultural dance experience, that will utilize all the muscles in your body. Traditional dhol beats set the tone for the warm up and breaking down the moves, and popular bhangra tracks are used for the bhangra jam - where you'll be sure to get a full body workout!
- Pilates
- Pilates 101*. This class is for those new to Pilates and the equipment. The essential exercises that are the foundation for all Pilates exercise will be covered. This is also a great class for advanced students looking to deepen their understanding of the method.
- Pilates Props. Put a new twist on your Pilates mat workout! This class uses therabands, magic circles, yoga blocks and dumbbells to modify exercises or add an extra challenge.
- Pilates Reformer*. A semi-private class held in the Pilates Area. All exercises are performed on a special apparatus called the Reformer. This class is a great introduction to the Pilates equipment. Limited to 4 students; reservations are required. $35 per class.
- Pilates Sculpt. Incorporating the "magic circle", physioballs, and dumbbells, this class works on sculpting the body while strengthening the core using Pilates principles.
- Pilates Tower*. A semi-private class held in the Pilates Area. All exercises are performed on a special apparatus called the Tower. This class is a great introduction to the Pilates equipment. Limited to 4 students; reservations are required. $40 per class.
- Yoga
- Ashtanga 101. Astanga utilizes breath control, isometrics and focused gazing with an uninterrupted flow of traditional postures. This class is for beginners or advance practitioners to hone in on their craft.
- Ashtanga Variations. This class draws from the poses of the Ashtanga yoga primary series. It is a set series of poses that challenge the practitioner to focus on breath and find a deep sense of calm. By moving past the physical aspects of the yoga practice, one can quite the mind and deepen the connection to self.
- Mind-Body Blend. Fing (and tone) your center with as invigoration fusion or yoga, weight training, and meditation that will strengthen and loosen even the most tightly wound body.
- Restorative Yoga. The body is placed in comfortable, gentle postures supported by various yoga props such as blankets and blocks. It is also an excellent gateway practice towards meditation - it soothes the physical body and encourages a calm, expansive quality of mind.
- Vinyasa II. Take your Vinyasa practice to the next level. For the intermediate participate.
- Vinyasa Yoga. Incorporate traditional poses with breath that flow seamlessly from beginning to end.
