      AROMATHERAPY MASSAGE
Combined with Swedish Massage, aromatherapy utilizes the medicinal properties found in the essential oils of various plants. Different oils produce different desired effects in achieving overall health and the balance of body, mind and spirit. Choose from six distinct plant essences to harmonize the senses and restore the mind, body and spirit: - Anti-Stress: calms, restores and elevates the mood - Vital Energy: invigorates and uplifts - Serenity: combats fatigue and tension - Detox: purifies and promotes slimming effects - Drainage: combats edema and water retention - Deep Heat: soothes aches and sore muscles with heat

CHAIR MASSAGE
A brief version of a Swedish, Deep Tissue, Medical, Sports or Shiatsu Massage, benefiting the neck, shoulders arms and upper and lower back. Chair Massage is available on the workout floor and on the roof deck: chair massages are limited to increments.

CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY
Cranio refers to the cranium, or head, and sacral refers to the base of the spine and tailbone. The craniosacral system is compromised of the brain and spinal cord (the central nervous system), the cerebrospinal fluid, and the bones of the spine and the skull that house these membranes. This very light, gentle therapy works the bones and the underlying membranes of the skull to improve the functioning of the central nervous system.

DEEP TISSUE
Using Swedish Massage techniques with the intention and focus of working on the deeper muscles of the body and their attachments to the bone, Deep Tissue Massage promotes the release of tension in the inner muscles and provides a sense of deep relaxation.

HOT STONE MASSAGE
Combining Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage techniques, Hot Stone Massage utilizes basalt river stones of varying shapes and sizes. Aided by warm oils, the stones are massaged into areas of tension.

MEDICAL MASSAGE
Using basic Swedish Massage techniques, Medical Massage is geared for the treatment of specific medical conditions or ailments such as neck, shoulder and back pain, TMJ, migraines and muscle and tendon sprains.

PRENATAL MASSAGE
Massage can be of enormous benefit during pregnancy, helping to soothe nerves and alleviate backaches, tension in the shoulders and aching legs and feet. Gentle, calming strokes stimulate the circulation without placing extra strain on the heart, and can reduce blood pressure and heart-rate, helping to calm both mother and baby. It is essential that a woman check with her doctor before using massage during pregnancy and that the massage therapist is fully informed of the mother's condition.

REFLEXOLOGY
Based on the theory that there are reflex areas in the feet that correspond to every part of the body, including organs and glands, Reflexology relieves tension in the neck and lower back. Reflexology can also have a positive impact on the organs and glands by using the correct pressure on these points.

SHIATSU
Based on the Chinese theory of medicine involving applied pressure along the energy meridians and acupuncture points of the body, Shiatsu balances the body's energy and health. Shiatsu also utilizes a number of stretches to promote the movement of the body's energy or life force along the energy meridians of the body.

SPORTS MASSAGE
Integrating Swedish Massage techniques that specifically cater to athletes in order to keep their muscles and tissues in prime condition, Sports Massage relieves the undesirable effects of training. The technique varies according to what purpose the massage is being given.

SWEDISH MASSAGE
A system of massage based on the anatomy and physiology of the human body. Swedish Massage incorporates strokes of varying depth and pressure to enhance the body's natural functioning. Blood and lymph circulation is improved and lactic acid is flushed from muscle tissue.

NATURAL FACE MASSAGE TREATMENTS
Face massage is one of the most relaxing and beneficial of all massages. Due to the vast number of nerve receptors in the face, this massage has a particularly powerful effect on the nervous system and affects the whole body. It can leave the recipient with a stress-free glow, returning a natural vitality to the skin. The Natural Face Massage Treatment incorporates a face, neck, shoulder, arm and leg massage with a choice of skin care regimens designed to cleanse, exfoliate and moisturizes skin, leaving it healthy and nourished. The three types of face care regimens available are:
- Seaweed Purifying Face Massage Treatment: stimulates, deep cleans and re-mineralizes the skin.
- Sensitive-Dry Skin Face Massage Treatment: improves circulation, decreases sensitivity, decongests and corrects the skin.
- Regenerative Face Massage Treatment: stimulates circulation, renews cells and feeds the skin vital nutrients and minerals.
